Hidden Meadow offers genuinely low rent and utilities included, with a warm manager who replies within a day or two. The trade-off is real: residents describe persistent roaches and occasional bedbugs despite cleanliness, degraded grounds (unpaved streets, sinkholes), loose enforcement against loud neighbors late at night, and one mailbox burglary with uncertain follow-up. Best as a temporary step, not a long-term home.
Abigail, the office manager, is repeatedly credited with going above and beyond to help residents and prospective tenants, handling lease approvals flexibly and resolving issues promptly. The property itself draws praise for cleanliness, a well-maintained pool, on-site maintenance, and a safe, quiet atmosphere. However, a vocal minority report chronic contact difficulties (voicemail, infrequent staff availability), roach sightings despite reported cleanliness, and surprise fees (bug spray, trash, renovation charges). This creates a sharp divide: those who connect with Abigail experience genuine care, while others encounter frustration trying to reach the office at all.
Most residents praise the welcoming atmosphere, regular social events, and on-site services like van shopping trips. Housekeeping lapses and worn interiors draw concern from some.
